As part of its constant exploration into future materials, Vescom has designed, developed and produced Wilson, a sustainable upholstery fabric for the contract market made of 100% recycled PET bottles from local sources. As a yarn-dyed two-tone fabric available in 21 colours, it gives furniture added depth. Performance is prioritized just as much as innovation, aesthetics and sustainability: Wilson passes all European tests for flame retardancy, a quality that’s embedded into the yarn rather than applied as a finish, guaranteeing its permanent containment within the fabric. Wilson also passes stringent IMO standards and is Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX certified.
